Palak is an illustrator and a visual artist currently based in Bangalore. Her work is playful, silly, and attempts to capture the joy of everyday things. She enjoys working across digital and analog mediums to bring her characters to life.

 

Inspiration for Palak often comes from books, nature, and lots of day dreaming clubbed with an urge to transform words into appealing visuals. She loves collaborating on projects that bring stories to life such as picture books, thoughtful gifting, and publication design.

 

Palak is an MFA graduate of Frank Mohr Institute, Netherlands and holds a post-graduate degree in Contemporary Art Practice from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. She recently co-founded Seasew, an experimental art-studio space that focuses on creating products that evoke a sense of warmth and delight.

 

Through her art, she hopes to spark authentic connections and invite viewers into her world of intimacy and imagination.
